PINRIPPLE™ is a patented carrier system that allows for a classic “ripplefold” look without the snaps. Instead of snaps, PINRIPPLE™ simply uses multi-directional string carriers and pins on the back of a flat panel curtain.
PINRIPPLE™ provides a level of flexibility previously unseen in ripple-style drapery and makes panel creation and installation far less challenging. In PINRIPPLE™, we make it simple by having only one carrier string spacing and allowing you to use standard drapery pins at the same or different spacings on the back of the panel to control the depth of the ripples. The ripples themselves are created by hooking the drapery pins through the carriers in alternating directions.
PINRIPPLE™ Carriers are available in both slider and roller options, though we recommend using roller carriers anytime the carriers will pass over a splice.
PINRIPPLE™ Roller Carriers are designed with a cover to prevent the string from tangling on a carrier’s wheel, an issue commonly seen in traditional ripplefold installations.
Both PINRIPPLE™ Roller and PINRIPPLE™ Slider carriers are designed with a small eyelet on the bottom of each carrier, adding flexibility by providing an option to pin a Pinch Pleat curtain in the instance the customer wants to change curtains.
There are two carrier arms available for the PINRIPPLE™ system. Both Carrier Arm options are proprietary to SilenTrac™ and provide a nicer, more luxurious finish to the leading edge of the curtain in both the open and closed positions.
