E-Wand

Yes! The E Wand is fully compatible will all venetian blinds, mini-blinds, and wand tilted vertical blinds. Unfortunately, at this time the E Wand is not compatible with vertical blinds that use a rope or chain to tilt the slats. If you would like to verify your blind’s compatibility, feel free to email us at service@currentluxury.com
Yes! For homes with corded tilt horizontal blinds, we offer a universal conversion kit with adapters to fit any venetian blinds on the market. Converting a cord tilt blind to a wand tilt is a very straightforward process that is outlined in the Installation Manual and User Guide. For the best operation of the E Wand, we highly recommend using our universal conversion kit over the several offered through third party sellers, as the tilt stem is usually positioned differently.

Installation of the E-Wand is straight forward, and programming is intuitive. Download the E Wand Installation Manual and User Guide.

The automation functions of the E-Wand are controlled through a sliding sensor switch. The top switch controls the light sensor and the bottom switch controls the temperature sensor. When the switches are in the top position, they are off. When the switches are positioned in the middle, they are set to fully automatic, meaning the E Wand will both close and open your blind slats. When the switch is in the lowest position, the E Wand is set to semi-automatic, meaning it will only close your blinds, allowing you to manually open them to meet your needs. If you would like your blinds to open automatically as well as close, simply move the sensor switch to the fully automatic (middle) position. Still having trouble? You can send us an email to service@currentluxury.com, or give us a call at 850-435-4994 and we will be happy to help.
Your E Wand is smart, but it cannot tell the time of day. Instead, they detect a change in light. There are two primary reasons why the E Wand may not be closing your blinds at sunset.

1) A manual movement was made within three hours prior to the sun setting. a. After a manual movement has been made, by either twisting the E Wand Twist Handle or by using the remote, a timer is set. This timer prevents the E Wand from making any automated movements for three hours after the manual movement.

2) The E Wand is positioned unusually close to an indoor lighting fixture.

a. In some instances, when a E Wand is positioned unusually close to a lighting fixture such as an overhead light or table lamp, the E Wand sensors will measure that light’s activity instead of the sun’s activity. To fix this, you can turn that E Wand’s sensor switches off and group it to the E Wand whose behavior you would like it to replicate.

If your blinds continues to remain open after sunset, you can email us at service@currentluxury.com or give us a call at 850-435-4994
Windows play a large part in the efficiency of a home. It is recommended that to save energy, homeowners close their blinds when it is warm outside to reduce heat infiltration into the home. During winter months, when daytime temperatures are low, it is recommended that homeowners open their blinds to allow in residual heat from the sun. It is reported that the typical home will cut between 10-15% of their annual energy usage by closing the blinds or curtains during high temperatures, and opening them during daytime cool temperatures. The automated features controlled by light and temperature sensors on the E Wand use this knowledge to reduce the homes energy consumption by automating slat movement.
When the E Wand has low batteries, it will play a short tune when twisted. Be sure to replace your batteries with 1.5v AA Alkaline batteries.
Batteries in the E Wand last approximately a year under normal use.
Absolutely not! You can link a remote to a E Wand whenever you want.
There are several ways you can control the E Wand: 1) manually, 2) by remote control, 3) by twist grouping, and 4) by initiating automated functions. This is different from many other blind motorization devices that offer only a single method of control.

1) To move the slats manually, you can perform a slight twist on the E Wand Twist Handle until the slats reach your desired position.

2) E-Wands can be controlled via remote control. The remote has 5 channels and an all-channel capability, allowing you full control over which blinds you move.

3) Twist Grouping allows you to move a single E Wand to control a designated group of blinds. All E Wands come with the capability to be twist grouped. Instructions on how to create a twist group can be found in the Installation Manual and User Guide as well as within the Instructional Videos.

4) The Smart Technology enabled sensors control the E Wand’s automated functionality. The sensors detect a change in light, opening the slats around sunrise and closing them around sunset. The sensors will also detect temperature, opening the slats during cool days and closing them during warm days.

Revolve Drapery System

Yes. Alkaline, Lithium Ion, low voltage wall plug, and hardwired. Power supplies are housed in the pendant and are interchangeable.

Formed, fluted and smooth. Motorization is only offered in the formed rod, while manual applications can use any of the three rod profiles.

Control options include pendant control, handheld remote control, Current Touch (capacitive touch), light and temperature sensor control, voice control, and third-party integration.

The Revolve applications include single motorized with sensors, dual motorized with sensors, single manual, dual manual.

Dual rods require a single control board and power supply. In dual applications, only one control board is needed, and it is housed in the sensor box. Motors from both rods connect directly into the sensor box for control and power through the single power supply.

Revolve rods do not require drapery tape. On the “ripple rings,” the chain controls the maximum distance possible in between each ring, while our patented ring design allows installers to alternate pin direction, creating the ability to create a patented pin ripple using a flat panel curtain on a rod.

Revolve uses connected Ripple Rings to allow users to achieve a uniform ripple look using a standard flat panel curtain.

Easy installation with bracket adjustment and forgiving rod placement. Rod bracket plates include the ability for easy adjustment during installation. The bracket arms themselves are designed for the rod to snap in for a no-slip, straightforward rod installation.

Revolve is the only truly motorized drapery rod on the market today. Using patented helical features, Revolve rotates, traversing anti-waver rings along the length of the rod to open and close the curtain.

Revolve rings are designed specifically to eliminate the “wavering” of a traditional ring as they traverse along the rod, improving the aesthetics and reducing clatter.

Pinch pleat, grommet flat panel and our patented pin ripple.
